Tell me if I am posting tomany pictures. We can hunt this Sunday so we have a day in camp. At Oct 1 your allowed to hunt Sunday's. I was told it because it gives the berry pickers a quite day in the woods. Berry picking is huge in Newfoundland
Been moving stands from bear spots to deer spots. It reminds me, I ain't 25 anymore. Did some team members go tits- up?
Finnaly got a cool down. Skeeters are gone but the deer ticks are insane!. Went deep into a swamp today to put up a stand. Swampgrass is 6+ feet tall. Got in there thinking this really looks like a stupid place and about backed out. Than I remembered how killer it was last year late season when I found the spot. I hung the stand and can't wait to hunt it after a cold hard freeze. Good to see you check in BBM.
C'mon cold front(s).. looks like this upcoming weekend will be kinda interesting. I'm so ready to be in a tree.
I pulled cards this weekend. I've never used the video option on any of my cams but I accidentally switched one of my coverts on to video. Pretty freaking cool!
Never have used the video feature but have seen very cool clips from others. Bob, I don't see where you've entered my doe on the scorecard sheet. Is there more I need too do?
I'll update the scorecard periodically. I'll try to do it more often now that October is just about here, but it'll be added right now.
Over the years any archers that killed a moose or caribou would have to shoot an arrow into the board ....on my first trip I shot one in after I killed my moose. Hopefully I get I add another couple to it this year.
20mph winds, and late morning wind and sleet made for a cold long day for me. Very hard to glass. Seen 9 moose, couple of smaller bulls, nothing I was interested in. Surprised to see that many moose with terrible winds. Did not see any caribou. Waiting for dad to get in as the came back for lunch and took boats to another area. Hopefully he had a good day.
