    Yeah the Amsteel daisy chain and Versa button looks like a pretty sweet set up. I’m switching after this season. Doubt I will cut mine like everyone else does though

    The hawk helium sticks I just bought have the versa button on them.

    Personally I think it depends where you hunt and the types of trees that are available to you. Where I live and hunt, a climber is about as useful as a fluffy jacket in July. Where I only hunt, though, I would 100% choose the LW climber over just about anything...really changed the way I hunt for the better I think.

    Yeah where I hunt it's the piney woods of east texas so a climber will usually take care of you. Sometimes though the best tree for the planned shot requires sticks. If only I had the strength of two men I would just carry both lol!

    I just watched some videos by diy sportsman on the rope modification. Seems pretty easy. Like I said the new hawk helium stick have a versa button already installed so this might be an easy upgrade. I do have store that sells climbing gear in my town. I might have to get some rope this weekend and do a little experiment
