Well only one shooter on camera here in Louisiana . He is an 8, not to bad for down here. Lots of does and fawns. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Today was our first "good" weather day. It was only 80. Hoping to maybe get out this weekend. If so it'll be Saturday morning. Hockey the rest of the weekend. Sent from my SM-G965U using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
No doubts about that one! I have one eight that is a 5x3 he is a mature buck but the side with 3 is a little goofy. I have another buck that may be a shooter but I don’t have the best pictures/videos. In my mind if your not sure typically they aren’t a shooter. We’ll see, it’s about creating opportunities to evaluate them close up on the hoof with bow in hand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Agreed, I've always had the thought process of what's my initial reaction when I see them on foot/hoof? Does my heart start pounding or do I just sit there and watch them? Do I say to myself yep I'm shooting or do I hesitate and think about it too much?
I am going to sit in a stand tonight. Its been brutally hot during the day and getting pretty cool at night but I'll give it a shot tonight. Unfortunately the farm I hunt on the owner is a few cents short of a dollar when it comes to brains and decided it would be a good idea for him to let 3 trailers full of gypsies move onto the property. So now there are 3 trailers running generators all day and night, with about 10 people living in them and wandering around the property. The other day I pulled up and to hang more cameras and they were all outside shooting pellet guns at random **** around the trailers.... It is going to be an interesting year...
Well boys I’ve had a lot of decent young deer on camera all year. But I just got the picture of the one I’m going to focus my efforts on. On part of the farm no one else hunts too
It looks a little rainy this weekend. We have hockey declaration games so I'm not sure I'll make it to the woods other than to hang stands.
I have a set of triplets on my lease as well. Definitely unusual. It’s good for business. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Fun fact in reference to twins atleast. 20% of whitetail twins have different fathers. Gotta assume that triplets it’s even more likely that atleast one has a different father
We have that same scenario here in the Nebraska small town where I work.......but I’m taking about the kids not deer
