    Our season opens on the first but I don't think I'll be going the first week. Work is crazy busy and 90° temps are in the forecast. I'll hold off a bit and wait for cooler weather .

    Had another doe tag and quite certain I could have filled it also but..., It was still plenty light out and a local tavern was a mile away:biggrin:.
    Bout a 12 yard shot, 60 yard death run..

    Many years ago I was doing construction work for 2 weeks on the island of Vinalhaven off the coast of Maine. We’d buy cheap lobster right off the docks, put some saltwater in a turkey fryer, and boil them up. Good stuff.
