How many of you have more than one bow? Maybe as a backup, a loaner, for target use, or just to mix it up a bit. Or maybe you like to collect them some? How many of you guys keep a 2nd or 3rd compound bow? Or multiple recurves? And why? I’m thinking about keeping this Bear Cruzer when I get a nicer bow in a month or so. It’s been a lot of fun and I think wouldn’t hurt to keep as a backup or maybe as something I can setup for friends to try and get them into the sport.
I have 2 compound and one re-curve. Guess I'm just lucky enough to have 2. Don't need them both but they're special and won't get rid of them. I happen to have 2 rifles of the same caliber for the same reason. The re-curve was given to me by a friend and it was her fathers so probably won't get rid of that either. Yes if, and when, I start to hunt out of state, it's a good idea to have 2 in case something happens to one of them in travel. Most hunters I know rarely have only one of anything.
I have three compounds now. A shorter and lighter one, and a heavier one. Grew out of the first one which I try to sale, but being left-handed automatically reduces the target audience to about 10 per cent. I have half a dozen of horsebows for thumb archery. All at different draw weights from 25# to 50#. I worked my way up to master the technique, instead of battling with the bow.
I have two compounds. My Elite which is my go-to #1 and then my old Mathews Mission. No reason to having two besides noone wanted to buy my old one and I don't have anyone who hunts needing one. So, we are going to be turning it into a bowfishing set up, I believe!
I have my PSE X-Force, Alpine Sierra Magnum, custom Black Widow recurve, a custom Earl Hoyt Sr. Longbow, a Sammik Korean Horse bow and an old Bear compound with a bow fishing setup. I like them all!

I kept my old one as a back up, nothing would be worse than being at hunting camp and having a problem with your main bow that can't be fixed without a trip to town. With that being said, it hasn't happened yet. My old Alpine Denali wouldn't be worth much if I sold it, and I shoot it well, so I figured I might as well keep it.
7 Compounds, 3 mine, 4 the wife's. 7 Recurves, 6 mine, 1 the wife's. Some old some new, one of my wife's old target bows signed by Tom Jennings and Bob Fratzke. One of the Old Recurves signed by Fred Bear for me.
Yup. Lightweight mnt bow with heavy arrows for elk. Heli m & new vertix for deer with medium weight arrows and more draw weight for longer shots.
both in my sig line. Kept the 2013 Mission b/c I love shooting it, and I travel a lot to hunt and if my Bowtech ever broke I'd want to be able to grab my "backup" and not miss a beat. I still take it into the woods a few times every season. A lot of times once I get a kill with one I'll rotate to the other one.
