Thank you I was hoping you all got the humor and lack of seriousness. Took me a min and a few liquid encouragement pops to think of it.

Hahaha. That was pretty funny. Now I am sitting here wondering. Did he already have all those pics on his phone? Or did he go out for a photo shoot

I love humor. I try to make everything about hunting fun. Back in the day I was serious diehard, too serious. I would zone in on a buck I wanted to kill and do whatever it took to the point then I stayed stressed out over a deer, and Wood worried to death whether a neighbor was going to kill him. Now I do silly stuff like the fat photos and stupid hashtags. Hell last year I even videoed myself on trail camera working a scrape and thrashing the lambs and licking branch with my head, only to have 150 inch eight Puerner come in and work the same scrape a few hours later. I still try to select one or two deer to zone in on, but I don’t sweat it if they leave or disappear like I used to. And Siri does not interpret me very well by the way LOL.

[IMG] checked my camera and caught this decent 2.5yr old on the left, then rode the quad down the tree line he was heading to find that he started 3 fresh new scrapes that morning. Kind of cool. But finally got everything done and ready for opening weekend.

Went out both nights this weekend with slow movement. Acorns are falling all over the woods I hunt so has been hard to pinpoint the deer. Then last night I made a rookie mistake and nicked my bowstring with my broadhead . So tonight will be swapping all of my gear onto my old bow just to limp through until I can get my main bow back. Super glad I didn't sell my old bow now!!!

Decisions. 2 bucks on 2 different farms. I’ve been chasing the first one on my 2 hunts and he was a no show. Now I’m getting some daytime pics of this other one. Both would score about the same somewhere in the 140s, one is a little bit heavier, and the other is a little bit framier. [IMG][IMG]

I almost thought about selling my 07 Guardian too since I finally stopped procrastinated and bought a new bow last winter. Just glad I screwed up now and not during the rut! That would have blown!

B You said both bucks are about a wash so any ties or reasons to chase one over the other? If not... What property do you have the best chance at?

As far as backups go I have yes a crossbow because of a delamination of a limb mid season and two yes two compounds with multiple old strings for all of them. I have gone trough 8 bows in 15 years almost all right at the beginning or during bow season. And Before anyone ask most were my fault of some sort. Guess I am Bow accident prone I have had 5 of the 8 delaminate limbs.
