Target deer

    I don't usually do that. We have so many one and done encounters here it would be pointless. Though , that said, I do get target doe. Unfortunately we do have several deer skeet shooters in the area. In other words the clip emptying shooter at a deer on a full board run . So lots of 3 legged doe over the years. Well today a 3 legged doe showed on one of the cams. She's big and healthy looking, has no fawns. She's my target deer this year.

    That's a dang shame, man. If I were to see someone do that, I don't know what I would do. They would for sure get a piece of my mind. Rob

    3 legged or not, a mature doe is every bit a trophy as a mature buck.

    On ya, actually I can say around here a smart old doe is a bigger trophy in my eyes. They have eyes in the back of their heads , hinges on their hooves,and walking around looking like snoopy doing his happy dance. In other words looking up. I have night and day pics on my cams of them walking by looking straight up.
