Seen 2 deer leaving walking down the road I drive in on. Where they came from is one nasty bedding area. Back at it again tomorrow.

I saw nothing. It's just as well. I have a busy day tomorrow and need some rest.

Hopefully tonight, hung a stand on Saturday on the back of a bedding area, about 20yrds off a deer trail so we'll see what happens.

Another hot one here. That's the only thing that usually keeps me out of stand.

I can hear a coworker around the corner, if the microwave beeps I'm thinking she'll turn and head towards the food plot and I'll have a clear broadside at 30 yds from my desk blind.

I'm on stand. It's hot. I have low expectations. I was barely into the woods and nature reminded that I ate a quart of salsa yesterday.

Damn, that’s a damn good looking deer and mount! You have a good taxidermist.

Nothing in the woods. Nothing on the walk out. Nothing on the road home.

My season in Indiana starts one week from today. I am thinking about possibly going to Ohio this weekend for the opener there.

Well the anniversary isn’t a bad thing. Just makes hunting come later. I got married in March so it didn’t interfere. That’s a late start for the season. What state do you hunt? I’m hoping to try shoot my first buck ever in NH. I’ve shot 3 bucks in Illinois. Just can’t get it done in NH I’ve shot lots of does here just the deer are hard figure out especially the big ones cause they are just mostly nocturnal. I definitely could have shot some spikes and fork horns just pass them at the chance for something bigger.
