Sorry I’m not super active yet. My season starts on October 1st, and I don’t have much to report till then.

What's better than going to work Monday morning? Well damn near anything else. But what's the best possible thing to do instead of going to work on Monday morning? Sitting 25 ft. up the side of a big ass oak tree waiting for a deer to walk by so you can give it a carbon injection to the boiler room! Deer season, the only time anyone was ever excited to wake up at 5AM on a Monday! [IMG]

Good luck ridge! I'll probly be back in Saturday morning. The weather forecast is looking awesome for my first trip to the farm next weekend. I can't wait to start hitting my own ground this season. The urban hunt has been a fun way to get a jump start on the season but I'm ready to be back on familiar land hunting the deer I put all my hard work into.

Heck yeah! I bet that urban hunt was fun. Good luck Z. I'm staying on the edges of my little spot and hoping the weather gets em moving and next week's weather looks even better.

I went out last Saturday morning for a few hours but only saw a grey squirrel. It was awesome to get out and hang in a tree though.

I went in to try to hang a stand in a spot that's new to me tonight. Got there and it didnt work out the way I'd hoped. So as I was considering plan b I was sweating and swatting at mosquitoes, kind of pissed off and had a moment of clarity. I went back home. It's pretty much a short walk from my house and it's a 40 acre piece that I dont want to hose. Anyway, I'm ready for cooler temps.

You and me both buddy. Next weekend is looking like a break for me...90s early week, 81 Thursday and then Friday a high of 70 and 44 for the low Friday night! I can't wait to wake up next Saturday morning at the farm and need to fire up the heaters!

Yes, I will be. I’m going to be hunting in RI. Didn’t see anything last weekend.

Probly go out tomorrow morning and hit the climber on the urban hunt one last time before I pull it to head to the farm next weekend.

Good morning team. I'm going home this afternoon, and I couldn't be more excited lol.

I'm wanting to hunt. I just need to figure out where and how. Wind and access aren't exactly great for what I want to do. Above all I dont want to blow out the spot closest to me bc there is a gigantic buck there that i want staying put until October. Looks like we are getting rain anyway. Idk.

90 degrees right now. Season opens tomorrow in Texas but most of my hunting is in Oklahoma until I hit Kansas the end of October. Oklahoma opens on Monday. With it being in the mid 90's the next couple of days I'll probably go fishing. May check a couple of trail cameras first though :)
