I was going to get on here at some point and tell you we should meet up. I will be hunting around Ladysmith week of Nov 4.

You have more chance for success with Infalt though lol

Sorry I’ve been MIA guys!!! Work work work and more work!!! Finally was able to make a card pull and to my surprise I should be chasing a couple good deer this year!!! Still missing 3-4 bucks from last year but they are just now cutting all the corn around me so things should pick up on the big buck front!!! 00001096.JPG 00000340.JPG 00000339.JPG 00000337.JPG STC_0666.JPG STC_0018.JPG IMG_4353.JPG IMG_4354.JPG IMG_4355.JPG

Headed down to the farm in Southern Illinois this weekend to scout a piece of public and check some stands that I left out last year. Hope it looks good down there. My challenge up here around home is gonna be late standing corn. The flooding delayed planting so long that we will be lucky if it’s out by end of november

Thanks @Shocker99! Did some shooting last night. My oats are doing great. I spread Milorganite on them to keep the deer away until they establish. I saw a great buck 1/2 mile from my house on the way home from work the other day so I am really excited for the opening of bow season on October 1. Hope your season goes well! I will do my best to keep up on the forum.

I'll be leaving work a couple hours earlier today. I'm gonna head back down to the marsh. I'm not heading to the same island as before, but I'll be hopefully getting on some bedding on the edge of the marsh and timber. I'll be scouting my way in, in hopes of stumbling on some sign. I get spotty reception there but I'll see if I can update you guys on what I see. :tu:

Well I didn’t end up with a new bow but I bought $220 worth of camo three packages of replacement killzone broadheads and replace pack of exodus blades and had him increase my draw all for 150 bucks

Just an update from the sit last night. Got skunked, no deer. Fell in a hole in the marsh up to my crotch. Fell in the timber crossing a log on my back. It was glorious!!
