I have the ThirdHand Bowholder and the Hazmore Silent seat. (They were your recommendations)

I've never needed stabilizer straps with a Summit stand. I just use the cinch strap to strap the top section to the tree and the weight of my feet, even when sitting, keep the bottom section in place.

Didn't see a thing again. That area seems to have been abandoned for now. Oh well adapt and overcome.

FYI, it's my birthday today, I require multiple blood (preferably deer) sacrifices to appease me. Please, no tampons.

Update from me. I hunted that buck bed in the marsh. Didn't see a single deer last night. I never left there before in the dark before. I got completely turned around and started walking in the complete opposite direction. I started to freak out a little. I had zero cell service, So I just stopped and remembered I keep a small compass in my pack. I never used it in my whole life while hunting. Alway had a pretty good sense of direction. But that marsh is a whole different animal! Pointed south and just started walking. A hour later I found my truck. Definitely not a good hunt! Lol

Had that happen to me once and I agree it is an uncomfortable feeling. I wasn't in a marsh but those ag fields all looked the same and it was my first time hunting the area. I was cornfused for a bit.

Thanks for fueling my fire boys! Congrats to those who have shed blood!! Impatiently waiting on the October 5th opener here in PA.

Have a couple good bucks on cam, and two wall hangers... Haven't checked cams in 3 weeks. So this weekend and next will tell if I go in to my best spot and try and get them on the last of the early season patterns, or if I hold off until the cool weather that late October brings..

Either way I will be out around the house over some new plots we planted, and hoping to experience success on our land for the second time ever.
It's only about 7 huntable acres, but with some strategically placed plots and one natural pinch point from one property to the next it's a killer spot!

Good luck and keep shooting straight!
