    This is my first sit in this tree since me double screw-up on opening day Sunday.

    By the way, that is the first "selfie" I have ever taken.

    I just worked 2 extra days this week to get off a couple days during the opening week of bow season. 30 hrs in 2 days later I am actually able to hunt a couple times during opening week! I was slated to work the entire opening week. The things we do to hunt.

    Stupid wind. Stupid lying weather channel.

    The wind was supposed to be out of the SSE this afternoon and I just got winded by a doe to my south.

    Wow that looks like a mess!! It’s a big undertaking tearing into old houses. I work in remodeling and the last 2 projects I did were on 100 plus year old houses. Good luck!!

    Shooting light ended 25 minutes ago but I just managed to get down. Does came in at last light and didn't come into range until I couldn't really see them. I ended up shining my Streamlight at them and they still wouldn't leave, so I just started climbing down. They blew and took off, so I got winded and scared the crap out of two more deer.

    Yes I did thanks! lol Started climbing down with a bit of light left. It5 had been a few years since I climbed up or down with a viper, but it was like riding a bike. I just need to work out a few kinks with carrying in my gear.

    Ok, please do not send emergency personnel looking for me. I'm probably OK.

    Work today decided to ban phones, I get their point but deny their reasoning. So I will not be posting or following through work week, currently anywhere from 6am to 6pm Mon-Thu and 6am -4:30pm Sat-Sun.

    If I do not show up during hunting hours Nov 7-17th, by all means release the hounds.

    That is all :lol:

    Good luck everyone, I'll be on in the evenings and days off until I convince them where the issues truly lie.
