I do have one and never remember to bring it. This sit would have been a great test of a thermacell. I thought during the sit how I wished I brought it with, but at the same time it would have been one more item to fit in my pockets. But it would have been worth it. :tu:

Hey fellas, I'm adding another alternate to your team. It's - @Kevin Mulder - he's been on the forum for around a year now, and just made a new account so it says he only has 6 posts, but he's still going to participate. I randomly selected a team for him, and you're the lucky one's, so you've got 12 members now.

Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. At least that’s the advice I’ve been given! Lol

Hey guys. Super excited for bow season. I hunt in Michigan in some very heavily pressured areas. I live in Kent county on 10 acres that I hunt on. I also have 130 acres further north that we have a small cabin on. This year, we have a real nice eight point on the property up north. I don't have any good bucks on camera behind my house, but I sometimes see some good bucks during the rut. I did plant nearly an acre of oats behind my house. That seems to help draw deer in regularly. I also have many mature oaks that are already dropping acorns. I did see a great buck on the way home from work today about a 1/2 mile from my house. He would score over 125, I think.
I also hunt a lot with my oldest daughter. She is 11. She shot her first deer, an eight point, last year with a crossbow. Needless to say, she's hooked. I have been hunting for 25 years. Hopefully, I can contribute with a good buck!

This is the 8 pt. I am after. We have some neighbors who are after him too. Hopefully I get a chance to see him!

A side note to the team. There is a good chance this season that I'll be hunting with Dan Infalt. I know that doesn't guarantee nothing but if you know who Dan is, then you know that ups the percentage of getting on something. :tu:

Dan. Infalt is the big buck serial killer. Hunting Beast. The guy is a modern Godfather to bowhunting and deer hunting in general. C heck him out on YouTube. He is a main inspiration for the guys from the hunting public. Keep us in the loop for that hunt tim. I’d like to meet him one day and pick his brain
