I have questions. Has anyone had experience deer hunting with sheep on the hayfields. The landowner claims to say deer are used to the sheep. Any information would help thanks...
Dress like a sheep and stalk them haha, I have no experience with sheep I do with black angus and the deer do NOT like them and avoid them 100 at least on the one prop I hunt.
Not with sheep though I see deer regularly at the farm down the road. They have sheep goats and horses. Now goats, when we had a goat herd it was the best dang buck hunting I EVER had. My goats and the doe went into heat at the same time. My buck would smell up the entire hill. Best lure around.
I have seen deer in a field with dairy cattle. This thing about dressing like a sheep reminds me of the coyote and sheep dog cartoons.
Its like when the sheep are gone deer start appearing out to the field.... never see them together with sheep...
