I initially could only find 7 broadheads when going through my my hunting stuff in preparation for this season, but then I found 9 or 10 more in a box I hadn't looked at yet. All set for the season now, though I'm practicing to be sure I'm a one shot kill archer.
brother if you need 16 or 17 broadheads for a season... then you and I hunt differently thats like $250 in heads i really shouldn't say anything , i have rages, naps, magnus' pot kettle
Yes. I think the 16 or 17 could last me 4 or 5 years, but DANG I'd like to try some of those Grim Reaper Razortip mechanicals.
Are you practicing with all the different heads or all same heads? Or you just assuming they all fly true? Like pick one and let it fly?! God I hope not. I also hope that isnt how you came up with your name hahah.
They are all the Allen Lightning XST 100-grain broadheads. I have a couple of other styles of broadheads, but since they are different brands/grains than these, I am not shooting deer with them. The way they fly is different, of course. I need 3 or 4 of the XST broadheads to practice with I am not assuming 100 grain target points will perform the same as the XSTs. And as for my name, it is due to my poor hunting skills and not my shooting skills. I can shoot quite well.
Arkansas allows hunters to take up to 6 deer, so assuming (!) I am successful at taking that many deer I will need a few more.
