    There is no question that hunting over a feeder is the easiest tactic in a “fair ambush” scenario. (There is no “chase” in a stationary hunt from a blind or a perch 15ft up in the air, Get over yourself....lol

    Many if not most hunters think you have to have camo(and not just any camo-has to be the correct and exact pattern), all kinds of fancy scent control products whether that be scent killer, scent lock, or ozonics. Cover scents, rubber boots....the list goes on and on. You can do all of that OR put a pile of corn on the ground, and it negates the need for all of this because they magically become the dumbest animal on the planet and it’s like shooting fish in a barrel.

    Here is the reality in my humble and strongly opinionated perspective. If you are hunting in an area with decent deer population, it’s really not that hard to compound bow kill a deer under a variety of tactics and set ups. On the other hand, killing a mature buck is a completely different animal and is difficult regardless of circumstances.
