One quick question for the team does anybody know if higher elevations such as 9000 to 13,000 feet affects arrow flight in comparison to the elevation I am here with in Nebraska

Not sure about arrow flight but it changes my capacity for physical exertion.

Great pics thanks for sharing, that last one is fantastic! Beautiful country. What where the hunts like, did you sit all day in the blind? Did you fly or drive out?

This was a buck I shot with about 15 minutes to go before sun down on a little 10 acre piece of property that I hunt. I was in the stand for about 45 minutes. It was cold and we had freezing rain the night before. The seat was frozen so I had to stand up the whole time.
It all worked out. 20141102_081851.jpeg Elliott.jpeg

Drove out. 25 hours each way. I sat in the blind the whole time but I shot him at 4pm the first day so I didn’t get to miserable being stuck in there haha

    Like they say:
Never pass an animal on day one that you would take on day five

That thing is a beast! Great buck. Funny how those little honey holes can hold some big bucks.

That’s cool, it takes a little pressure off when you can get it done on day one.

    Thank You!

I totally agree. No one would ever imagine that deer like this are in there.

I really like the shoulder mount on the pedestal too. I usually just do a European mount. I wish I had room for the bigger stuff.

Not doubt, It's been a heck of week. I'm running out to the lease to trouble shoot a cellular camera. Hopefully get that back on line...

Cameras fixed, mast crop is looking good and the farmer planted winter wheat. Not sure the wheat will be a factor but it is better than bare ground.

I'm back home now and I came home empty handed. The deer movement was terrible. I'm guessing it was a combination of the heat and the moon phase.

The first thing I did when I got home was check my cameras here. Almost all of the pics were when the moon was up or around noon. Practically no primetime pics.

You gave it a good effort. Definitely tough conditions. The best part of the season is ahead of us.
