My son is stopping by for dinner on his way home from up north, making roast venison for supper. Since I will be prepping dinner I will be unable to help paint the bedroom ceiling.
Just added the potatoes and carrots to the crock pot, smells so good. Too bad there will be no left over venison my son will destroy 2 good sized roasts himself.
Old toys are great. My neighbor has a garage and hanger full that I've helped him with over the years. It's better when I don't have to pay 2 old Evinrude rebuilds and a 1929 Desoto in progress...
Temps in the 60s at night at work instead of the mid 80s and humid. Best in life. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
We finally got rain tonight. After 30 plus days of 100F heat indexes and no rain, it finally rained. It was only for 20 minutes but it poured and dropped the temp 20 degres right before my kids’ baseball practice. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My son is getting married the end of September, he was raised right but he is getting married to a viking fan, not proud of that but I don't judge. I was concerned that he would compromise his beliefs and get tolerant, not become a fan but thought it was possible he would defer and go with his future wife. Nope both kids are going home this Sunday his future wife going to her parents my son coming home and he wants to shoot his bow before the game and watch it with his pops. Already won.
Getting a call, after walking out of the CO elk woods, from a buddy needing help after downing his once in a lifetime moose.
One of the many reasons this is my favorite time of year is because Oktoberfest is my favorite kind of beer and all the breweries are coming out with then right now. This is a new one to me. Ale Asylum Oktillion. Not too bad. Kinda hoppy for an Oktoberfest but still good.
This little guy turned two today! The little goofball was so excited to see Thomas the train that he wouldn’t hold still for a decent picture. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
^This. Though one they get older, it can be equally fun. My oldest and I have been segment hiking the AT and pulled my middle son into the mix. I look more crotchety than usual as my plantar fascitis was bothering me when we stopped in the Smokey Mtn National Park.
