Ok first deer just came out. Looks to be a velvet spike or a 3 pointer. Of course he is over by my truck!

The season will be here before you know it!

I'm just watching this spike mill around eating different things. In about 30 minutes I should see some good deer movement.

We got a 5 minute rain around 4pm. Basically just enough to crank the humidity up without cooling things down at all. I’m sweating my ass off

It’s really hard to stay still in the stand when you have poison ivy.

Finally got back on stand. I'm on a different farm now. Had a real misadventure but no time to talk about it now.

I jinxed myself. My truck just died, leaking coolant all over the place haha.

Good luck with the recovery. Does the trail look green or possible foreign matter in it?

On a serious note hope it's nothing major

If it truly died and is leaking coolant it usually doesn’t end well. Overheated and locked up. Or is it just leaking coolant? How’s the blood trail looking?

Thankfully caught it before it overheated. I can’t find the leak, but it blew coolant all over the place.

Forgive me if I pull a mike and don’t post recovery pics ;)

Enough of me clogging the LFTS though, someone kill a deer please!
