Got my new X-Stand X1 Mini in the mail today. I love X-Stand climbing stands, I’ve been using them for years and for hunting public land you just can’t beat them. I’ve been using the original X1 and I decided to get one of the smaller and lighter Mini’s and I have to say that I really like it. It is SUPER LIGHT. The box says 8.5lbs (frame) and 11.5lbs fully loaded, but I don’t think it weighs over 10lbs. I can’t wait for October 15th, opening day here in Alabama!
I'm very interested in hearing how it climbs/feels. I've read mixed reviews, but would love to hear one first hand.
I never used one but they look uncomfortable, I’d rather sacrifice weight for comfort. That’s a lite ass climber tho!
I have never used the climber before but have two of there ladder stands and they are very comfortable and way safer to set than normal ladder stands with there cable clamping system. So the stand is already ratcheted to the tree when you climb up. Hillview Hunt Club
