This is one reason that I am not bothered to be balding. I shave my own head. In addition to avoiding these testosterone deficient places, it also saves me about $300.00/year. Kids haircuts are ridiculous, I told my wife that I was going to start cutting our boys hair. Between the three boys, we are spending $60/month on hair cuts after taxes and tip. That is at Sports Clips, not one of those high-priced metro or kids salons. That is $720/year on frigging hair cuts. I do not even want to know what my wife spends on hers. I could hunt elk in Colorado every year for what we spend on hair cuts. Not to mention that if my boys are going to spend time around other men, I want them to be men, not bearded ladies.

When we were in Indiana my son got his hair cut by a real barber. He said it was the best cut he has ever had.

What a barber should look like

I missed the initial reaction, but when he pulled out that straight razor to shave his neck, the look was priceless.

Drew was his name and barbering was his game

Looks my barbers place. You can get a hair cut, a jug of maple syrup, buy a gun or have one fixed. It is like a rural mall.

I going bald and my hair needs to be washed. WFT, if it's going to fall out, it may as well take the dirt with it!

And I stole that line from Gallagher.

I had a guy, a real barber and he retired. I feel like I've been in limbo ever since. The shop had deer and bass mounts, a stack of playboys and sports illustrated and a real testosterone feel to it. I got a straight razor shave and a cut once a week. After everything was done he broke out this shoulder massager that sounded like a jackhammer. He gave good advice and was a solid fella. It's going to be impossible to ever replace that.

You forgot to add they may open a little late if the barista making their fair trade iced coffee latte and serving them locally sourced gluten free muffins had a flat on his motorized bicycle that runs on repurposed fryer oil. And dont get them started on which skinny jeans are more comfortable when crossing your legs while sitting down to pee..

Went to Subway for lunch, they have a new card reader, the machine tries to prompt you to tip. No I am not tipping a sandwich artist.

I still remember being very young working at Subway... I worked the late shift, we stayed open until 200 as the bar next closed at 1. I would have my friend get in line with the drunks and talk lots and loudly about how good the food was then tip me (my) $20 saying how awesome I was. After that everyone would tip until the line was gone.
60% of the time, it worked Everytime.

Rumor has it that the local lake draw down is forcing midge away from the river/lake, in turn giving deer blue tongue. 1 guy found 14 dead and the other has 12 dead. Don't mess with nature. Leave it alone.

Is that up by Between Rice and St. Cloud Jake? Little Rock Lake, they have lowered the river from Sartel up. Thing Little Rock is a man made sedimate settling pond anyway. That area is already a CWD area, not looking good for my future hunting, my daughters place is about 5 miles from the river.

Guess it was a slow night at work the other night so I looked around at my surroundings. Curbs, perfect lines for parking spots, signs with various instructions and directions on them, home improvements that come with paying the government so that you can do said improvements....and on and on. So civil. But then im watching a short video on chemical munitions and how they have been outlawed by most nations as unable to be used during war, yet all nations can carpet bomb the crap out of each other. Damn world wild weird world man.

It's been years since I've been in an actual barber shop. I couldn't even tell you where one is anymore. I was married to a hair dresser for years so never had to go anywhere. Now, I just hit up Sport Clips.
It's much more "civil" to bomb the ever-living F out of people than it is to watch them die a slow, painful death from chemicals and radiation. Or, pass that **** down generation to generation.

But, then again, isn't that what "food" companies are doing to us already?

Id say its much more civil to act crazy instead of acting civil and then murdering each other. F it. Be real
