Hey guys I just moved to RI and was wondering about the WMAs. I was going to take a ride tomorrow to Black Hut. Any suggestions?

I hunt private land in MA. In RI season opens Sept 15th and you can hunt on Sundays. That’s what I’m talking about!
    Thanks for the reply!

I've only scouted George washington in Glocester. RI has the best hunting regs in New England for sure! GW is good size, but gets hammered in ML season, which opens in late october I believe. Unfortunately I've never scouted Black Hut. Appears to be good size though!

Well, I went to Black Hut Wednesday and didn't find any deer sign, not a track. I even found grapes laying on the ground with no sign of deer eating them. I guess I'll check out George Washington WMA on Saturday.
