If you have to ask, you know the answer brother. That's the exact spot that takes the most driving force so I would salvage what you can from it.
Check to see how far down the crack goes. If you have the arrow lenth you can cut a half inch off that back end and salvage the arrow for practice. Four or five grains wont make a spit of difference
Man, I’ve shot some sketchy arrows, but the cracks were at the other end and I shot them into stuff to finish them off. I wouldn’t shoot that one like that.
these were "old" arrows that i sas setting up for random use, checked them all prior to quick fletch. this happened, i believe in the couple second during or just after the boiling water for the quick fletch. at least a I checked my arrows.
