Montec CS 100 grain, they break bone and keep on cutting. The Triax is my 36 year old son bow but he is getting ready to deploy so he gave it to me to use. I have three other adult sons, they all keep their bows here for me to setup and spine out arrows for them so I have multiple bows to pick from.

They hate getting text from me this time of year, it sort of goes like this " hey, what you guys doing" they all replay "how many stands we doing Dad and when". Lol......................you would think after all these years they would be use to the "We need to setup more stands text".

I would give anything for my dad to go hunting with me again. Can’t get him off the bottle enough to get out of the chair. But that’s besides the point. I have some stainless Montecs but they just won’t get sharp. Dull as hell. I’ve been running Magnus black hornets. Killed a coyote with one but not a deer yet.

My one son used to be my hunting buddy but now he has his family and 4 kids, and his work, he hasn't been hunting with me in a couple years. But his oldest son is 12 and he is becoming quite the deer hunter. Killed his first last year. Looking forward to his first buck this year.

I'm shooting the Wasp Jak-knives this year. I've been shooting the same bow for last 4 years or so and don't plan on updating anthing for a while. I have 2 boys ages 4 and 7. I built a comfy blind this year hoping they will come sit with me this year. It's more of a gun stand/viewing stand. The attaached are a few deer that either got the pass last year or the one was broken already in velvet. Hoping to see this bucks this year.

So as far as team names, we got a few different ideas. Any other ideas or are we voting on these three?

Here in Pa archery season starts September 28. I probably won’t get out a lot early in the season but going out to Illinois the end of October for 2-3 weeks.

Looks like some nice bucks! Team name doesn't matter to me either. I've gotten this picture from early July, I'm not sure if I'd shoot him on my family land yet or not, standards are very high on that property. On public he would be dead. I'll maybe check some cameras before the season starts, but i'm not sure yet.

Anyone keeping track of the votes? We also need to look into picking a team captain.

I need to get to hunting. It’s costing me to much setting around waiting. [IMG]
