Glad to see everyone checked in and ready to go. Awesome deer Rick James. Cool to have one on of the guys i watch on the show on the team. I hope to get out and set a couple cameras and move a stand this weekend. Last weekend of September season starts in Ohio. I believe I'm the only one from Ohio on the team.

So far this is the only decent buck showing up on my cameras. He isn’t the biggest we have but I’d gladly take him with my recurve. The more mature bucks don’t start showing up until the end of September through the middle of October and they’re normally nocturnal.

Well on the 1 piece of private that I hunt (80 acres total) we got 3 different food plots in the ground today and hung 4 stands. One food plot is 1/4 acre of soybeans and the other 2 small plots are a mix of turnips, rape, clover, and kale. The place has never held any good bucks but you will catch one every once in awhile cruising through BUT it is home to a dozen or so does so its good for 2-4 a year on does

That’s basically how my place sets up. We get pictures of good ones at night but still have yet to see one during daylight hours. One day one will mess up lol

For more and better chances at bucks. Plus 2-3 days a week hunting would burn 80 acres pretty quick.
