2012 is the only season I have went buckless. Shot under a 160'ish while posting in the Live from the stand thread.

Still gut wrenching every time I think about it.

2014 isn't on my contest entry post anymore. Was 109 and change. I'm not overly picky, pass the small ones early and sometimes get lucky. Otherwise I get impatient and shoot the next one I see

    Here was 2015

This year will be a big change. The family farm, will be getting a make over during this hunting season. We(family) decided to have some timber/clear cut the property where i hunt. So, it looks as if i may be public land hunting. The good, is the public land backs against the property. I need to go scout a couple of locations, remove my current tree stands, and prep for some run n' gun action! Will the cutting going during the season, have an effect on the wildlife/hunt?

It's annoying to listen to for certain and easy to blame. Had a neighboring property being logged a few years back, didn't change things a whole lot, deer will still travel. Hunt where they're not logging and then move to where it has been logged. Where they have logged if leaves were still on will drop fresh browse to the ground when they leave the tops and other branches.

It's the land, not the hunter. Still need to get a cape for the 2017 10 to get him on the wall. Euro and the one above table are both shotgun kills, the shoulder mount was my first deer ever.

Sent Buckjeezy a message, he should get an email notification. Tagging him will only alert him when he comes to the sight, last visti was 3 weeks ago.

Annoying, so true. I can't set a stand or feeder on public land. Hopefully i can manage to have an area preserved, where I keep a setup.

We're checked in and needing one. Request already made for an alternate. Hopefully we can get onto an even playing field.
