I sure used to be on this forum a lot but not nearly as much the last year or so. It's great to see some new names here and I'm excited to get to know all of you more this year. I live in Northern IL, some of you may have seen my hunts on Bowhunt or Die the past couple of years. This year I'll be hunting Northern IL, Central IL, Kentucky, and Iowa. I'll actually be heading out in the next week or so for Kentucky to get a few early season hunts in and can't wait. Here are a few pics of bucks I've taken for the contest over the past few years. I didn't punch a tag in 2018 but hopefully I can change that luck this year!

It was a cooler 62 here in Central Arkansas this morning. just a short 32 days till I will be 18' closer to God!
Yesterday evening I went to a refuge to scout for dove and to check out some velvet bucks. I seen some really nice bucks but the dove wasn’t having it. Leaving that evening I seen the most beautiful Oklahoma sunset. Yes, I’m that guy who takes sunrise/sunset pictures lol
Hunterman, why don't you take the Captain spot. I think you are dialed into the competition and the thread. As far as names, I like Dirt Nap, but I will not object to whatever ya'll prefer. RickJames and RJ, great looking deer. Lot of character.
I was on a dirt nap team last year and I think we only took 4 deer total as a team! Last place or next to last(ouch)! But whatever the rest of the team votes on I'll be in. Just prefer something else. Headed up to Wisconsin property soon to pull cards, season opens in a couple weeks! Here's one guy I hope made it thru, had numerous pics of him last year. Bone Reapers, Flight of the Arrow, Betty Crockett, Spot on.. Just throwing a few out there.. but ultimately it is up to the Captain to pick.. Our season starts on Oct 1st in Illinois and Sept 15th in Missouri. Starts Saturday for some hog hunting in Texas.. Tired of shooting foam..
Okay, I think we’re all thinking the same thing. We don’t really care what our team name is or who is captain, we’re just ready to be in a stand! I’ll be captain so that’s settled. I’m gonna write down all the suggested names and draw two out of a hat. Let’s vote on the two names and the one with the most votes will be our team name. Tomorrow at noon I’ll submit everything.
