Well guess I'll throw a intro out there just because.

I hunt about 500 acres of mostly farm or pasture ground. Not alot of timber but it brings in alot of deer. This year will be kind of a new experience because the neighbors 80ish acres that used to be crp is now being farmed. There's beans there this year. So will see what that brings.

Haven't really been out scouting or really much of anything yet. Got cams out tho and checked them other day to find couple big bucks roaming around. Hopefully at least one of them sticks around. Got until Oct 1 before get to head out and depending on weather will try and get a few sits in. Going to take off first or second week of Nov to hunt. Usually don't hit it real hard till November but then I try and get out as much as can. Usually alot of action until about 2nd firearm season then it slows down.

But good luck fellas. Here's 2 I'll be chasing this year since already posted them guess might as well here too. Have few smaller ones running around too. There's a nice smaller 8 that's been pretty consistent on cam too.

    ^^^^Great looking bucks!!^^^

I'm Joe, I live in RI (Booner state) and hunt public land in CT. I grew up hunting the spot, and it is a very tough go. If you see a deer you've had an amazing day. Last year I saw 3 deer (doe w/ 2 fawns). The previous year I saw one deer and shot it in the ass. The year before that, I didn't see a single deer. It was not for lack of effort or dedication.
After doing a lot of off season thinking and evaluating, I realized my whole approach is wrong. I've since changed to beast style hunting, where I'll be hunting buck beds based on the terrain which leads to predictable movement. The hunting beast forum has changed my whole thought process for hunting, and how I've went about my hunting in the past was all wrong. Should be a great season! I wish everyone the best of luck, and I'm glad to be a part of this team. My sense of humor is on the darkside, so hold on tight, gonna be a fun ride!

16B7078D-D2DA-41AE-B477-FB6B9A0A2200.jpeg I’m Brad I live and hunt in west Central Alabama. I will be hunting my lease that 800 acres of mostly planted pine and hardwood draws I plant about 10 food plots around 1/2- 1 acre in size.
In February I was able to purchase a piece of property that I will be hunting on it’s 180 acres of thick timber that is surrounded by hundreds of acres of private land. This farm is a work in progress most of my time will be developing this piece of property but hope to get out and hunt it several times this year. Look forward to serving on the team With y’all. The two bucks in the picture or on my new farm hopefully get to meet up with them this year.

What is "beast style"? I've lurked at that forum, but have never really pinpointed what exactly it describes. Perhaps I should join over there and do some reading.

    Start reading this thread.....https://www.thehuntingbeast.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=24471

It is basically agressive hunting tactics, by using the terrain, and thermals to snaek into a bucks bedding area for the kill. Most of your time is spent scouting.

My screen name is the same over there. I don't post too much, because I feel like I know nothing compared to most of the guys over there.

I’m Nick Hall I hunt western Kentucky my family farm. Hopefully be able to contribute some points to the team. My wife and 2 of my 4 kids that also hunt trying to get my boy his first crossbow buck this season and my wife her first archery buck so time for me is pressed. But have some good deer to choose from. Hope to have some fun following along.

Any ideas for team names? I was 90% serious with "The Gutpile" and logo, lol!
We also need a captain? My votes is for the Steelers fan who started this thread!

Second vote for cls74. I am the least creative person so don’t look at me for team name ideas.

my main criteria for the captain of this team is that it is not me.

don't care about name that much, gut pile is actually pretty good but honestly i cant support the picture

I'm good with captain unless one of the others wants it.

As far as team names go, I say we put Swamps up for a vote when everyone arrives and go from there.

I was going to suggest stealing the 2-peat champs old logo and "Size Matters No-Mo" as soon as I seen we were team 3

I’m with you on the name and logo. Like the name, and the logo is a good joke but don’t want that as the official.

I like cls idea too on “repurposing” the other logo too. We got options!
