I'm Bob from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I hunt a private 70 acres that is dedicated hunting grounds. Here is one of my bucks that is constantly under my stand. I have another buck that I know is a Booner and a double main beam. HL-1_1.JPG Hl-1_2.JPG HL-1_3.JPG

SparrowHawk checking in!! I live in SW Michigan, not a lot of giants around here, but I am after a real good one this year. I also head to Missouri every year, I'll be down there from Nov 7th-13th, I really like my dates. This is my 5th year in a row heading down, I killed my first 2 years with later dates that were more towards the 2nd week of Nov, the last two years have been the first week of Nov and it was always getting good right when I had to leave. I haven't shot a buck the last two years now and I am really itching to knock one down.

    Okiebob those are some studs!!!!

Here is my number 1 for the year here in MI so far. I believe I found his right side during turkey season, not 200 yards from where these pictures were taken.

I think this is him as a 3.5 last year. same frame, same taller G3s, also the shed I found has some stickers on the bases just like he has as a 4 year old.

68886807_2432783956979689_5036713374994399232_n.jpg IMAG0100.JPG IMAG0114.JPG 69341187_2218156368297059_2800226159101476864_n.jpg This is a solid buck for my area. His right shed I scored at 61.5, he was pry pushing upper 130s as a 3 year old, I think he is 150 this year? Wish I had a better recent pic of him, the crappier photo is from 8/22 though and you can see the tines he grew and his overall frame. Should I be concerned about him pin pointing my camera like that? I have only went in once to check it, which was the other day, I sprayed down, wore latex gloves and we have a rain coming so I am hoping I didn't leave much scent behind. I hung that camera on 7/7 and he was there 7/10/ 7/14 and then on another camera 8/22. All pics were right at dusk or dawn, I think I am close to his bedroom.

NW MO in Nodaway County, guess numbers are still a little down there from bad bad EHD outbreak in 2012, but on rebound.

Hey Bob - Sparrow. Steve from KY checking in.

Bob I hope you and I don’t suck as bad as we did last year. No matter though I’m glad we are on the same team again. I enjoyed it last year and hope to again this time.

As for me I’m buried with work right now with no end in sight but I remain hopeful about being able to get in the tree often enough to get something done this year. Bob you know my story but for the rest of the crew I guess I need to put forth some details. I live and hunt in South Central KY. I own 30 acres in a prime area but it’s tough to hunt really big deer on my land due to neighbors and general amount of human activity. Most years I have a few shooters around at one time or another but they are usually scarce come Fall. I have been seeing a large bachelor group in the bean field across the highway (about 3/4 mile from me). There are at least 3 shooters in the group with the largest being a ten that’s pushing 160”. The beans that join my property are much younger and have standing corn on both sides so I’m actually hopeful for a reversal this Fall where I have the bucks during season rather than just in the Summer. We’ll see.

I also have 4 leases in 4 other counties around me and a couple of permission spots. Most of those farms have multiple big deer on them. I haven’t done much with cameras this Summer so I don’t have much of a hit list pictorial to offer at this point. I’ll post up some here in a minute. I’ll be running more cameras as season gets going so I’ll have more as time passes.

He lost probably 15” since last year but is still a deer of a lifetime for me. I’m guessing he will still be low 160’s as a giant 8 with a tall split off his left brow. He is a gigantic deer. This is the 5th year of history with him and I believe he is 8 yrs old.

    Howdy team 10.
Names Dave I I hunt nw Mn.
All my cams are sitting over bear baits now but will relocate them for deer mid October.
Large amount of decent bucks around but have lately seen a few possible booners..
I typically don't start hunting deer untill mid- late October so hopefully you fellas can whack a few of them dandies early and get some points up.
    Shoot straight guys!

Oh yeah, who's gonna run this team ( not me).
And should we have a team name or just stay team 10?

I guess we can all figure out a name. I'm fresh out of ideas today. I was a team captain last year, there is not much to it. I dont mind doing it this year but be forewarned, I am getting stupid busy fir this time of year and after last nights storms in the metro I am thinking I will be lucky to hunt in October.

I only got into roofing bc I grew up doing it, dad was a roofer, and I knew I would have the winter months, i.e. deer season off. Otherwise, I would still own a restaurant and be slaving away..

We install a ton of class 4 impact Resistant 50 yr. and they last about 12-14 years. Our sun, wind and weather make Bob a fairly happy guy.
