Hi guys, I recently got pictures of a pretty awesome buck (for me anyhow), and I was just wondering if you guys would call him a split Main beam buck, and if not, what would you refer to the splits at the end of his main beam as?

To me those are just downturned main beams. They could be considered similar to drop tines I suppose but they wouldn’t be counted that way because they aren’t additional points. They definitely aren’t split main beams. Nice buck though. Hope you get a chance at him.

Great buck! I agree with above^^^^. It's just his main beam turned down. The point on top is a typical point. Still a very unique buck.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it! And I agree with what you're saying, I just couldn't think of what to call it! I posted another picture that shows the down turn a little better

    He is interesting for sure.

I have a different take on it. I think on the right side he has a G5, while on the left side you would count the bottom point as an abnormal point. Looks like the main beam on the left flows to the upper point, while on the left it is the lower.

Would have to see a good shot of him once out of velvet though. Post one up if you get one or manage to kill him.
