    Hey fellas.

New here but wanted to ask if anyone had any tips for spot and stalk antelope?

I’m going for 2 days, one evening, and plan on having a decoy. But I have heard many have had success with the white flag on a post strategy?!

Also. A lot of the videos I have seen guys are crawling on just their knees, without being crazy low to the ground. Is it just me or does it seem like it would be ideal to army crawl on those speed goats?

If it's hot,, many will sit in a blind at a water hole, known travel corridor/pinch point.

Spot and stalk with bow is tricky with a gun, getting close enough with a bow, well... Good luck.

Yes, it will definitely be a tough weekend.

A blind is on my list for future seasons, perhaps this trip is more of a scouting trip for water holes and potential future spots?

    I’ll have fun!

I have a friend that got one with his bow by finding one bedded just over the top of a rise, he stalked up the back side of the rise and when he got close to the top he drew his bow and then kept inching forward a little at a time until he could see it. Ended up being about a 30 yard shot. Probably not real easy to find one bedded like that, but a good way to defeat their eyesight if you can.

Right on! That sounds like the ideal stalk, will definitely keep an eye out for those “bedded on the top” bucks
