Wow you have a good hunting spot. Good luck and keep us posted as you hunt them. They got that big for a reason so looks like your going to have your work cut out for you.
Yeah this is the first year seeing a piebald in my area. He won't make it threw season cause there is like 6 other guys hunting neighboring properties to mine. I told my girlfriend if she gets a shot at him to take it lol. I don't know if I'll pass him up or not. We will see when/if the time comes!
I was always told if you kill them you have bad luck. Well I never killed one and I sure don’t have good luck. Would make a awesome mount but I would want to mount the entire deee and that’s some good money involved
Yeah we would definitely get a full body mount of him if we did get a opportunity at shooting him. It would be worth it.
That piebald would definitely make a nice trophy (full body mount) and be difficult to pass, but my area I'd probably give him one more year.

I always felt that same way in my earlier years of hunting, and you are probably right, someone will take out that deer. But back when I was killing anything that walked I never saw a big buck. Now after years of passing bucks it's a given I see bucks like this every year. Don't always shoot them but I know they are there and at any given moment the opportunity could happen.
Nice bucks! I have passed some good bucks that I probably should have shot cause I haven't killed a buck with my bow cause I have been picky. But it does show passing them, I got 3 bucks that are shooters for sure this year. This piebald tho I want to pass but its going to be hard to cause I talked to two guys that hunt close by and said they have seen him and will shoot him if they get the chance.
Yeah, it's too bad we as hunters can't all have the same standards, but I understand and don't fault them for it. I mean if shooting a 1 1/2 year old makes you happy every year, then do it. That's the way I used to be but I started getting pickier every year and now I get big bucks on my cams every year even with guys on neighboring properties shooting smaller ones. So it does work, and who knows maybe the piebald can get lucky and make it through.
Yeah it is going to be hard to pass him. I already gave my girlfriend the go ahead. I told her to shoot whatever makes you happy. We go threw deer meat so quick so we try to fill our tags but I haven't filled by buck tag for 4 or 5 years now. Hopefully this will be the year.
