I shot the NAP Thunderhead Nitro last year and loved it. Sits real tight to the shaft and flies literally like a field point. Highly recommended on my end

I have shot the DRTs in the past and like them a lot for a fixed blade!

Here's the plan. Going to check a food plot I planted tomorrow, not expecting much so I'm going to grab some corn to throw out and freshen the mock scrape vertical licking branch I set up and check the camera. Tuesday going to check the camera out where I shot my buck last year. Will also put a camera over the other food plot that I planted which is right where I shot my buck the year before. I hope to have some cool pictures to share in the next couple of days.

About to order some FMJ’s in a 340 spine. I’ve had 400’s so hoping to see some difference. Going to try the Magnus snuffers and maybe those Nap nitros.

What has you sold on them? Have you ever considered Black Eagle Rampage?

Trying my hardest to stay out of the woods this week. I have a hunting buddy coming out Saturday and we have a list of Shiz to finish. I'll get to see how my plot is coming in and pull cards. If we finish the list as we should I'll be done out there until season.

I set 3 cameras up and did a little trimming at one farm yesterday. I didn’t make it to the other farm due to wet and muddy conditions. I’ll hopefully make it out there this week but we’ve got more rain coming

I pulled the Millionaire card yesterday and still don't have a buck over 115" out there. Super strange! I don't know if I will even hunt there this year...might just let the place breathe for a year.

My kid is home sick tomorrow, so I might throw him in the backpack and go check a couple other cams...

Well I’ve used Easton’s forever and have never had an issue with them as far as durability. My bow setup is on the line of using a 400 or 340’s. So I want to buy some 340’s and see if my paper tunes and arrow flight will improve.
The older I get the more my steadiness is getting worse so I need to work harder on it.

I did look into the Black eagles and they look like they are good ones. Thanks for the help

As long as you tune any arrows will work. Especially when you know and love them. Let us know how they shoot

Was on Wasp’s website and they have a deal on picking 3 different broadheads and you get a case for free. Eager to try their sharpshooter head as it’s a COC. Also picked the Drone and Havalon heads.

The drone’s are similar to Naps Nitros so we will see what shakes out. Fun times ahead!

Today did not go that well. My son and I went to check the food plot we planted and as expected it didn't turn out very well. We have a little bit of wheat coming up but not a lot. The landowner's wife didn't want any chemicals put on the property so no fertilizer or lime and food plots generally need good amounts of both of those. I may go buy some clover and broadcast some in hopes of it growing next time I go out there. Ph is usually pretty good in Kansas so I might get some to come up that way. Freshened up the mock scrape with the vertical licking branch. Pulled the card and didn't have the camera high enough to get the licking branch. Surprisingly I still got a couple of deer to trigger the camera. Was going to stay and install a hunter safety line to the tree stand but my son stepped into a colony of seed ticks so I rushed us home to get in the shower to get them all off. It was bad!

Guys, today was muy bueno!!!! Checked the cam where I shot my buck last year and mowed some of the grass and set out some deer cereal and a mock scrape. I'm doing this in a hurry so don't judge quality. They are pictures of the pictures. Yessssss! Keep the velvet coming. It is killing me knowing that the bucks back at home are growing and I’m getting no updates. They don’t call, they don’t write, nothing.

In all honesty guys, I will be absolutely no help to the team this year. No deer tags and not enough time off to make a trip, means no deer hunting, just elk and bear. Benny I would look to see if it is possible to get an alternate if the numbers allow. Someone random... like Boonerville or something. I know this team is gonna repeat. Just too many killers willing to put the time in. Even if I’m not on the team, I’ll be following and giving Fix the business when he’s not putting numbers on the board!

A little update, HHA Optimizer is a damn nice site and i will be putting it to good use this year. I have 13 days in September to kill an elk. STOKED.
