    AG Barr

“This sex trafficking case was very important to the Department of Justice, and to me, personally," Barr said. "It was important to the dedicated prosecutors at the Southern District of New York and to our FBI agents who investigated the case, and were preparing it for trial,” he added.

“Most importantly, this case was important to the victims who had the courage to come forward, and deserve the opportunity to confront the accused in the courtroom,” he continued. “Let me assure you this case will continue on against anyone who was complicit with Epstein. Any co-conspirators should not rest easy. The victims deserve justice, and they will get it.”

Just not important enough to make sure the witness did not die. There are a lot of powerful people who were/are going to be exposed.

And rightfully so, regardless of side of the aisle or issues they support.

Whether he is dead or agreed to flip and go into witness protection we'll never truly know. I'll have my suspicions either way.

If big hitters are taken down, ie Clinton, a few other Congressmen, Hollywood elites and a foreign Prince then I'd tend to side with witness protection.

If it fades away and nothing more becomes of it, I'd tend to believe allowed to commit suicide or otherwise dead and major cover up.

We finally get unemployment numbers to disappear and the Dem/social crusader's answer is to hand out money to everyone. Because why not but votes. Our infrastructure is flawless, education is top notch, and our VA??? It's all but perfect. We need to learn from all the wonderful examples of socialism working, quit fighting and lean into the curve of Utopia.
    Whew that was tough

Yeah yeah, we know...the Trump derangement syndrome is rough buddy but we'll pray for you. Maybe Trump will see the light and turn socialist and then you can brag on him for a change. Probably not though, I mean even if he turned hard left at this point he already screwed you all out of a couple of socialist supreme court seats and numerous other leftist federal court positions, that's pretty unforgivable. Maybe your party can keep zombie Ginsberg on her seat until you manage to vote out or assassinate the orange man so you don't lose another SC seat.

Appears he's dead, but somebody still needs to go to jail (or be suicided)...

I think it depends on what the meaning of the word suicide is.

Because they only handed it out to the unemployed. Compare apples to apples.

You know, honestly idgaf about politics anymore, it's a lost cause. If y'all are fine with the big corporations taking bailouts and running our government for the people, it doesn't bother me. Y'all sent broke trump to drain the swamp and the fat pig just rolls in it. He has changed nothing, has your healthcare premiums gone down? Do you pay less taxes? Has government shrunk? Has the national debt been payed back or gotten smaller?

There is not a Democrat candidate that I like outside of Yang. So long as there are two sides the powers that be will have everybody arguing about whatever this week and next and the week after that and in the meantime American citizens will foot the bill and suffer. But who cares so long as it's the narrative you identify with in charge, even though they get nothing done. Oh I know, its bc the other side is holding them back.

I was just as critical of Obama and Dubya. But if I dont like your buddy I have derangement syndrome. Okay. I'm guessing you spent the 8 years Obama was in office pissing and moaning, aka having derangement syndrome but that was different, right?

It is like the late 60's these days liberals against conservatives, kinda sad really. A viable 3rd party would serve us well.

Maybe I’ll throw something out that everybody could agree on....

Wouldn’t it be pretty great if Steve Rinella did a meateater podcast with Ron White as the guest?

Let's see what CNN does with Cuomo after tonight.

Left wingers will blame the other guy, who did nothing but ask questions. Cuomo however, is a "respected" on air personality who is held to higher standards correct?

Lets hear how he was justified and acting diligently.

He spoke like a thug and gangster.

CNN should be ashamed but likely won't be for their baby boy

I think there was enough data. It didn't improve the pilot groups fiscal position, increase employment or provide benefit exceeding the input.

Agreed, but because I see few actually representing the people. It's an ego job.

Never been a fan, but the global marketplace is competitive and most big companies will play games like moving their HQ to a different country, state or county to squeeze a few more pesos out of their balance sheet. Most of the time these rewards go to the biggest shareholders or officers (who often hold a lot of shares).

I assume you meant ruin here. But its bipartisan ruining, not bipartisan running.

Trump voted in was a referendum on a number of issues. SC Justice one of the biggest, but more generally I was say morales and ethics (yeah I know Trump is an assclown, slimey and an unlikely poster child here... But juxtapose him with Clinton).

Government is like an orchestra. It has great potential. Skilled musicians, everybody playing the same song, great things can happen. If I hid a measure of a song, and told the orchestra to improvise, you may not even notice. 2 measure, 3, 5, 10 eventually it would be evident. We are here and devolving. Each muscian trying to play louder and become the lead...to be heard.

I see the constitution as the strategy and framework our founding fathers set out to keep us on the same song. We are so off script.

NO politician, that I see, is trying to fix healthcare, reduce the debt or taxes. These are not simple problems, glad to discuss them, but they have tentacles.

I will say Trump did make tax changes, cut budgets to most agencies, has tried to address immigration, and global competition (through tariffs, threats and posturing).

Simply, government gets money from taxes... Everything offered by the government is paid for by taxes. People will vote cake and ice cream for themselves and later ***** about taxes?!

UBI is in this same category. It's a participation trophy.

A roofer wouldn't stay in business if he only charged for their material costs... Or even the materials and labor of the roofers.

I do think a third, fourth, fifth viable party would have some merits.
