Re: Minnesota in March. I think it was 2019 that the Rockies opening home game had over 20 tons of snow removed from the ballpark. And that wasn't all of it. More like football weather.
Yanks had their lead up to 10.5 games over Tampa. Can’t believe they’ve done this with 25 people hitting the injured list. That’s insane. I’m beginning to think the scrubs they use now are better than the high priced talent on the IL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Didn't go to baseball games until my oldest grandson became part of the family; daughter's stepson. He plays first base for the Mississippi Braves. Lived just a few miles from Shea Stadium and never went. Now we keep a card table in the living room from April to October. Right now we are watching the Little League World Series. And our recreation minister scheduled a hunter education class this week!
I enjoyed watching all the pompous massholes that were singing "their" song in a visiting ballpark get Rick rolled.
Twins hit 268 home runs before September 1st, holy crap. 26 games left they need less than 2 a game to get to 300
The American League Central Division is the only division in MLB where every team in the division have won a World Series.
Big series this weekend bet tickets will be cheap on Sunday, think I will go. I have been wanting to go to a ball game alone and find the best ticket available.
Sota I hope you didn’t think the Twins were actually going to set the new HR record. Lol. The Yankees just blew past them and probably ain’t looking back.
Season records aren’t established during the season. They are established at the end of the season. No need for the sour grapes... 2nd best is still pretty good (said no one ever). I’m sure everyone will remember in a few years who had the 2nd most homers in 2019.
Listen I know the Twins have about a 10% chance of beating the Yankees in the playoffs, on a zero % chance of beating the Astros in the playoffs. Unlike most minnesota sports fans I am a realist.
Typical displaced Yankee fan is it October yet? Do not pop off till the totals are posted. NY Clowns pop off a lot.
Just yanking your chain. I don’t think either one of us have any chance against the Astros. We both know that elite starting pitching will beat big bats every time. And hell the Astros have bit bats too. It’ll take a miracle for anyone to beat the Astros.
I’m not displaced and I’ve been a Yankees fan for over 40 years. I’ll go ahead and pop off. This particular contest is over.
