I can definitely see how that was rant worthy.

I was thinking that if you could lift it easily enough and walk to one side you could get it angled with one wheel on the ramp.

That idea never crossed my mind. It probably would have worked.

My wife just called me to tell me that my MIL is offering $200 to come mow and weedeat the their property. Why? Because my father-in-law has been too lazy to get up and do it. He is perfectly capable of getting outside and driving the riding mower around. Just refuses to do it. The grass is three feet tall in places and the property is a full acre. It will be at least three weeks before I have time to get out there and do it. So it will be even higher by then. I told them I am only doing it if the riding mower is working and I will be starting at daybreak.

The last time I mowed their property my FIL was recovering from surgery and he hadn't mowed in a month. The grass was over a foot high and I had to push mow the whole thing because the riding mower was broken. Took nine hours. I am not doing that crap again. I think it is time to have the hard conversation with my FIL that if he does not quit being so lazy he is going to be forced to downsize the home to a property he will manage or be put into a retirement home. I know my MIL would go for downsizing. The sad thing is is that he is still mostly capable of handling. He just won't get up and do it.

I can't imagine ever letting my place get to that point.

Just out of curiosity, how old is your father-in-law?

Congratulations, you spent your day looking for something on the internet to justify your ill intent view of a political party. And so your point is? Some Americans exercising their personal freedoms to believe how they would like? You really do hate an Americans individual freedom don't you. Maybe we should get a doll and you can point to where the liberal touched you.. 20190806_150946.jpg

He is 72 years old. Like I said, he has a riding mower and is perfectly capable of using it, actually, he has three riding mowers. But, he has some mental health issues. However, unless he is having a flare up with the mental health issues that the MIL is not talking about, that has not been a problem in several years. To all appearances, he is simply being lazy. From what I can tell the MIL agrees that he is just being lazy right now and not having any mental health episodes. My attitude would be a little different, if I knew his mental health was heading downhill like it did several years ago.

I can't judge as I have a serious yard mullet going on right now, just finished the front yard Sunday when the rain rolled in. Its been a week and a half since I've been able to mow the back. If it rains tonight I'm probably going to have to declare it a tick and skeeter sanctuary.

Ha, hardly...I came across that by accident when I came in the house and sat down for lunch. It's no problem to find things that show how mentally retarded the left is. It would be far more challenging to find anything leftist do that isn't retarded.

No liberal touched me but I do feel disgust that they have their grimy fingers wrapped so tightly around the balls of our nation. Considering how perverted liberals are there's no telling what kind of gross STD's are being transmitted.

Can of pork and beans, blow some gas and you’re brand new. That works.

But bourbon is hard to beat even with a Taco Bell bean burrito

not to speak for Covey, but if I had to guess it's not their political views that are so annoying but rather their incessant attempts to be "free from" a myriad of imagined assaults on their senses. They literally want to restrict the behavior and speech of others by claiming that speech is violence.
