It's the same threads as I used practice tips and broadheads I already have.

Well crap, this might be my fault. I was going to link the target but when I found the one I think it is it states it is a field tip target. I always thought that meant a broadhead would like pass through, but guess not.

I gotta admit, being able to bow hunt year round in Florida has major advantages!

Nothing to exciting while scouting today. The usual same sign year after year. Its like the deer are on a 3-5 day loop/rotation throughout the entire forest. I'm looking forward to getting into prime shape so I can get to the areas that promote movement and bedding.

Least prepared for me for a season in a long time. Don’t even know if I will be able to hunt. Had ACL replacement surgery a month ago, and according to doctor I shouldn’t be walking in the woods and uneven ground for at least 6 months. I have my tag for Kansas again but will not know if I will be able to go until the time gets closer.

Get a 4 wheeler and a big tent style blind set up. No walking necessary, pull in and wait. We don't judge, well, some do if a crossbow is involved....

By month 3 to 4 you should be good to go and walking solidly if rehab goes well. I'd say by the rut you will be good to go and if you are worried about twisting it, wear one of those solid acl knee braces.

Decent buck at my parents yesterday. He’d be a nice 8 if his right side wasn’t all wonky. Mom said this is the “medium” one, so I can’t wait to see the big one[IMG] [IMG]

I had one like that last year but never saw him on the hoof, hoping he's still around, I'll have to look for a picture and compare. Ol doofus will be a good euro mount!

I guess I'm almost ready, going to check cameras for the first time this weekend and look at all the monsters I'll never see on the hoof. I looked in my freezer, still have about 50+/- pounds of venison burger left to eat, maybe this year I wont grind all 3 deer I shoot. It's needs to get back to Chili weather!

When we end up on the same team again, I'll be hitting you up for the cliff notes.

Find the thickest cover where you hunt. Then find how it ties into different habitats. The more diverse habitat with cover and away from other hunters=the best chance. In my humble opinion.
