Oh if she was aggressive I'd throw a bird shot in the 20 Guage. She's been here awhile no doubt. Like I said they blend in well. So I'm being nice this round and having her removed.

The king snake is quite common around here, they actually help control the poisonous snake population. They are big scary looking snakes but are considered to be "good snakes", I still don't mess with them.
That's how our Bull Snake is, non venomous, eats mice/voles, and supposedly kills rattlesnakes. Pattern on it is similar enough to a Rattlesnake that you are a bit nervous until you can see it clearly. I doubt they kill very many rattlesnakes in nature, I bet someone put them both in a cage and the constricting Bull Snake won, but can't imagine that happens often in nature.
Had one of these crawl between my legs one day while scouting public land in SC. Knew what it was and I am a big fan of them but still nearly SMP. Yes, I left it alone.

I have only seen one snake the entire time I have been bow hunting. It was actually the one time I was thinking about snakes that I looked down and saw one lol
In high school a guy had some snakes for pets. He got out a couple for us to hold and one, which was not a boa, was hard to hang on to. As I tried to keep it under control, the SOB bit my hand and I turned into this guy!
When I was on active duty, a guy in my company had a ball python as a pet. He knew I hated them and he still brought it up to my room in the barracks. It was a Friday night and I was intoxicated. He knocked on my door, I opened it, and he had the snake in my face. I hit his hand and the snake went flying over the balcony into the dark night, never to be seen again. Thankfully I had fast reflexes in my youth and dodged his punches.
We had an infestation of copperheads one year. Even the wife joined in on the killing spree around the house. That being said, I'm not going out of my way to kill any snake in the woods. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Huge Cottonmouths out at the swamp where I duck hunt. Our jon boat floated away in a flood one time. I went to recover it and i found it upside down. I reached down to grab it and flip it over. When I did, the biggest freaking female Cottonmouth was coiled up right next to where I put my hand to flip the boat. It slowly slithered away and as I watched it disappear on the other side of the slough I remembered to start breathing again. Also saw another giant one swim right under our duck blind. Early season hunting Has it’s cons lol.
