I screenshot the wrong image or something. Nit sure what I did wrong other than let whiskey talk me into a new bow This is the one
I did this last year. Fortunately, I shoot a Hoyt. Supposedly part of the design process is that it must survive 1500 dry fires or something crazy like that. I had to replace strings and cables, but I was planning on doing that soon anyway so it wasn't a big deal. The rest of the bow checked out fine and has been shooting great ever since.
Placed a few trail cams today, also identified a potential hot spot for a ground blind this year. Underneath some apple trees that are loaded and it’s near a fence! statistically, i should have about as good of a chance at getting a deer there as the Patriots do of winning a playoff game against Pittsburgh. You guys and your hats have it all wrong. You need to wear a Bernie Sanders hat, they work as an attractant bc deer love free stuff..
I gotta be honest I usually dry fire mine around once a year. It's usually after I make a really ****ty shot and I’m trying to concentrate on making a better one the next time or when somebody comes up and talks to me and distracts me while I’m practicing. On my bowtech it always collapses both cams and occasionally damages the string. So far limbs have never been damaged which is weird since one of the things you hear about bowtech is their limbs have problems even if they aren’t dry fired. I’ve been lucky and only done it in the off season so far because it usually a 3-4 week turnaround on ordering and getting new cams delivered. I did it back in January and finally bit the bullet and ordered an extra set of cams/axles, a spare string, and a extra set of cables in case I did it during hunting season. At least that way I wouldn’t be out for a whole month of the season. I figured that since despite my best efforts I still seem to have the occasional dry fire I might as well prepare for the aftermath. I will say that the feeling you get after a dry fire is the worst feeling. It’s like a wtf just happened, followed by an oh ****, then a wave of shame.
Mine didn't ship today so will likely be here Tuesday. Unless they batch email late in the evening/night.
GO JOE!!!!!!!!!! looking good, were gonna have to hook you up with some american flag wraps on those arrows!
