Still haven't gotten mine out. Might follow your lead and go in blind too.

Life is just too busy right now. Every single weekend is basically booked for me.

As I recall, Sawyers says an application last about 6 weeks or a few washes.

I usually spray my gear the week before NC season opens, which carries me into mid Oct... Usually ticks are a non issue then...on the other hand, the thermacell often burns into Nov. In NC.

This past year I ran mine nearly until Jan 1. Was a bad year for the skeeters here!

well Men and women, i was practicing at my local sportsmen club on there 3 D course. i did something that i have never done before. i pulled up to target #25 drew back, settled the pin right behind the shoulder and let it go. everything felt good, however i forgot to load an arrow and i dry fired my bow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the string came off the cam as i looked at my quiver i realized and NOT placed an arrow on the string. i immediately to my bow to my bow shop and had everything checked out. i was a little surprised that it didnt blow up in my hand, after having it cked out which everything was fine. string, cables and limbs are great. Man i hope i don't do that again.

went back and finished the last 6 targets.. while i was at the shop i had it paper tuned, it was off just a little to the right not sure if that was from the dry fire or the new strings and cables from 3 months ago.

    :deadhorse: yes i am a dumb @$$

congrats on the new bows swamp and cls

I witnessed the same thing at an indoor 3d shoot two years ago. The dude checked his yardage, drew, let down, changed his yardage, drew back, POOOW! We were all staring at the target so no one noticed he never nocked an arrow. He’d just done the same thing a few months before!

Mine should ship today, and may be here Saturday, if not Monday. Had it shipped to my work since signature is required. Think they ship fedex and sometimes we get Saturday deliveries and sometimes not.

Just hoping I don't mess up my shoulder. Haven't pulled a bow back since before tearing my rotator cuff 3 years ago

I hear ya on that one! For the past few weeks I've been pulling back my old Bear "Black Bear" from the 80'sset at 55 pounds to get my shoulder used to pulling again. Only thing that seems to bother me is my neckfrom turning my head. Just need to stretch i guess!
