Also you could leave the arrows longer and not cut them down. A longer arrow will weaken the spine.

Well make sure before. I'd hate for you to get something you don't need.

The unshot Maximas hunters are 32.5 inches carbon to carbon. The blood sports are 28.5, and the pile drivers are 28. Maybe the charts have changed but when I was shooting 65lb with a 100gr head, the chart called for 350's. After my shoulders started bothering me and I dropped down to 55lb the cx chart called for 250's. My arrow length was 27.75 inches

Are those blood sports 350s or 250s?

If the blood sport's are 350 spine, they probably be the best match. If not the maxima 350 would probably be the easiest to weaken the spine to get in the range you would need.

As for your cam, I would call it a medium cam.

You could leave those Maxima hunters at 32.5 inches or so and put on a 100 grain head and that will weaken the spine to around 400.

You could also use the other arrows(spine around .340 or .350) and beef up the head weight to about 150 grains and that should be good.

If I remember correctly, aren’t the carbon express spine numbers flip flopped? Like the 250 is actually like everyone else 400 and 400 is way stiff? If that’s the case the blood port 250’s would be right on cut at a 27” or 28”. Then, as mentioned before, you could throw 50g up front on the 350’s and be good to go.

I know that at least with the CE chart, 350 is stiffer than 250. I'm pretty sure it's the same with the blood sports as well.

Caffeine hadn’t kicked in yet and I was thinking the blood sports were a model of carbon express. :whip:

I'd assume 350, I don't see a 250 on their charts. If that's the case, these will be the ones i go with.

Yes I agree. Looks like they will fall into your range with just screwing on a broadhead. Hopefully the bloodsports are 350.

I'll double check on the size when I get home from work, which will be about 7, and then we'll go from there. I so hope it's what you need.

I'm a fan of heavy up front. 125 grains is the easiest to find a variety of different heads. But if you have 100 grain heads left over, they still work. You could also use the same ones as you do with your crossbow. With your poundage, I personally would stick with a fixed head.
