So was Peak incorrect in my thread in the Contest section? He said sign ups would start Thursday the 18th?

Would he be your best to date? Can't make out your profile pic. Not sure what you're wanting critiqued. Looks possibly upper 120's to me, maybe get into the low 130's if he has some other stickers. 3 1/4 yr old maybe? Edit: Might even be mid 120's actually with shorter tines. Doesn't have a whole lot of mass, about average I'd guess and IS isn't much. He's definitely one that could benefit with another year or 2, but let your conscience be your guidance if he presents an opportunity.
Personal best is 142 8 pt. Do you think he will put on enough to beat that? I still got 2 other properties to inventory Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Truthfully, I have never used cams year round or scouted, I don't know when their growth cycle slows or ends. Being mid July I would assume he still has some time, I just can't guess as to how much. I'd be curious to know though. Do they grow equally throughout their development for mass and length or does one stunt while the other continues? I've never really researched the growth cycle as I don't see them until November anyway
I drew a permit on one of the most highly managed archery-only pieces of public land in Arkansas. Last year, there were six deer taken off of it that went 150+ with the biggest being over 170. Those were just the ones reported in the voluntary postseason survey. It is a three deer, with one buck limit WMA. The best part is that it is only 15 minutes from my house. I could literally go every Saturday and Sunday morning, hunt for a couple hours and be home in time for breakfast with my family. On August 10th, I am also going to field day orientation to get my permit for my first time participating in an urban hunt. Unlimited tags and they do not count against the rest of my normal tags for the state. I have to donate the first deer from this hunt to the Hunters helping the Hungry program, but after that, I can keep as many as I want. Last year in this urban hunt, 25 hunters killed 160 deer during the season. The urban season starts September 1st. The rest of the normal archery seasons start September 28.
Sounds like you have a lot of good opportunities this year. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm really wanting to check cameras, but muuuuuust resist. Got 2 I'm excited about this year and both are hanging around so far. One usually doesn't show on camera till late October for the past couple years, but he's shown up frequently. Hopefully he doesnt reverse trend and leave in October!
