I’ve been using Sitka Optifade Elevated 2 the last couple years. It’s some really nice stuff! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Can't go wrong with Predator(Fall Grey or Brown Deception), Realtree Xtra or Edge, First Lite Fusion, ASAT for all around Up in a tree Sitka Elevated II, Realtree Vertigo I own mostly real tree and Elevated II stuff which I have never been busted in a treestand
I typically use Realtree Xtra out here. Colors actually match up for me pretty good in my area. The only thing I try to do with camo is have the same patter for my shirt and pants. At least if I'm not killing anything I can try to look like I know what I'm doing! Haha! Deer aren't blind but sight is probably 3rd on the list of senses that keep them alive. Scent and sound will get you busted before sight. But since we all still wear camo when we're hunting, I just try to keep an eye on the clearance area of websites. I've gotten some pretty good deals on Badlands stuff at 50% off or better. I've also been lucky to get some good UA stuff at TJ Maxx. (I know UA sucks at backing up hunters) but at least I'm getting it at 25% - 50% off if I buy it there. I never buy clothing at retail price. Bottom line is you can wear $2000 of camo and if you stink and make noise, it's worthless. My dad has killed more bucks in blue jeans and flannel shirts than I will in 3 lifetimes.
I agree. Most animals have more of a differential eye sight, i.e. react on movements or silhouettes rather then patterns. Any clothing in a muted color will do. I had come quite close to many animals (including deers) in ordinary casual wear, and the ran as soon as I made a noise and moved. But I guess this is not sales-promoting ...
Camo patterns are to please the human eye, deer do not give a crap about your camo. Pick whatever makes you have the confidence of a ninja in the woods.
I mix and match whatever is comfortable and quiet based on the weather... I rarely "match" camo in the woods... as long your silhouette is broken up I think it's all fine.
I like Realtree edge camo for early season and Lost Camo still works good for me in late seasons. I will be trying Mossy Oak this year when the Pre-Rut/Rut hits.
I've just used what ever we get issued at work. Green or desert multi cams is what I use, they are free.
I typically hunt from blinds so camo isn't a huge priority. But when I do I typically wear Realtree Xtra. The colors and patters work well where I'm at. Anything that breaks up you natural shape will help. I think Realtree and Mossy Oak have the most versatile lines of patterns. You can find a lot of good hunting clothes in their patterns without paying Kuiu prices.

ASAT vanish 3d suit and wear whatever you want underneath. Works early to late seasons, I wear it in a stand, ground hunting or in a blind. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My son and I rented a video tape on bow hunting; shows how long ago this happened. Thought it was interesting that the guy had a camo shirt and blue jeans. His tree stand was open with no camo fabric to hide behind.
