have someone else grab your bow, then climb up a tree stand, then move as they are shooting a deer ! all the while you are watching from 30 yards or so away---you will notice all the movement from your bow and arrows, it really shows up, especially with bright fletching, I always hang my arrows and never use white fletching
Sure, either always on, or always off. Otherwise, re-adjust the scope. A hip quiver can be as annoying as a bow quiver. I think this depends on one's style (bow grip), and the change in balance point (bow size + weight, quiver + arrows). For me, it makes said difference.
I not only hunt with my quiver on, I also shoot 3D's with it on. Hip quiver is for my target compound and recurves. My hunting/3D rig has a 5 arrow Tight Spot quiver on it.
I used to hunt with it off. Last season, I did an elk hunt and got used to shooting with it on. I have been shooting with it on since then. I may try shooting with it off before season starts. On public land, I cannot use a screw-in bow holder. The rope bow holder I made holds the bow at a funny angle with the quiver on. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Off. I always keep a gear tie affixed to it at all times I typically put it on a branch or on my stand / accessory hook. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
