Our bear hunting camp In northern Minnesota. Been going here since 1991. It's on an old logging road 1/2 mile deep Into the woods. Thousands and thousands of acres surround us. Some day I hope to buy a small camper. This Is by far my favorite place to be. All worry's go out the window here.

Ok, if we are going to play that way Schultzy I'll add our annual Grouse Camp. We have a 14'x16' canvas tent with a wood burner. We go the Nicolet National Forest in northern Wisconsin and camp out in a wilderness area. We can simply grab out shotguns and go hunt. Little driving is needed.

Okay guys, I gotta shop you how we rough it in NW Wisconsin !!! one pic with snow, one pic without.
Then there is the place that we always thought about getting into.."The Castle", it even has a baby grand piano, but nobody really knows how to play it, so we will let it go to the musically inclined. At my age, this is called roughing it.

Finally remembered to take pictures when I was at the cabin last. We were doing a lot of work this weekend so it's pretty messy but its a cabin. We replaced the bunk room floor. Moved the shed because it was in the place our new garage is going up and we cut a ton of wood that weekend but here are the pics[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Has bath/ laundry, tiki bar. Wish I could live up there

I'd say that is about as perfect as a camp could be.

This is a little 14 X 28 portable building that I purchased and have been building out. No running water, just a hand pump out of a plastic water reservoir under the sink. I have electric, satellite tv, and heat and air through ptac wall unit. Ive learned a lot through the process. This sits on a 65 acre farm across the road from 3,000 acres of public. Friends have killed deer on my farm but I always find myself going across the road to the public. Lots of deer here.
