Do I need a peep sight on my recurve?

    I've been thinking I want to get a bow sight mounted on my 45 lb recurve bow (samick journey, similar to the sage) do I need a peep sight mounted in the string as well? I want to use the recurve bow and sight for hunting

    The purists will not like it but it is your bow set it up how you want.
