Deer need several things but the 3-4 to remember is calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and if your in an area that lacks this in the soil selenium. BTW not all calcium's are equal...never use calcium chloride for soil or feed components. it is for tire ballast and in construction to keep concrete from freezing, not for soil ph and bone building in live stock. I'm on the PC so can link: https://www.ams.usda.gov/sites/default/files/media/Calcium Propionate Petition.pdf
I've had my trail cam out near the lake for 3 weeks now. I will probably wait til mid August then go get it and stay out of the area until deer season.
I have used Trophy Rocks for many years with great pics and they kept coming back for more. This year I am using an Antler King block with good results to far.
You guys do know Trophy Rock is merely a glorified salt block right? Read the guaranteed analysis of minerals or "wanna be" minerals whenever considering something. Your objective should drive your decision. If all you care about is pictures it doesn't matter, get the high salt or nearly all salt stuff. If you desire a true mineral, research and read up on the tags...ratios certain minerals should be to eachother (not just phosphorus and calcium). Do that your list will shrink VERY QUICKLY. Good luck on your search for one.
