The spoiler I thought I read did not end up being.

A headline on CNN said something like, Game of Thrones finale; "Poisoned Challace" or something.

Went into it thinking it was a leaked spoiler and Sansa or Arya would poison Dany.

They could have done so much more, once it was said it would only be 6 episodes I pretty much knew it wouldn't be an epic season.

I just hope the same people do not control the spin-offs that are bound to happen.

I thought it was fine though not how I would have written it. Fans are sure anal about it though, it's just a tv show for pete sake. The TV show was basically always a fanfic, the books are the real story line anyway. D&D were way out of their depth whenever they ran out past the books. Now fans are even mad at GRRM for not finishing the books in time for the tv show to finish off the source material, lol. I think it was a business decision by Martin to boost his book sales. It remains to be seen if it'll boost them or have the opposite effect.

I have zero problems with the final episode or the way it ended. I'm pretty sure people would have found something to complain about no matter what happened. That's the world we live in - full of armchair quarterbacks and people who know better, always looking for something to complain about.

I felt it was quite fitting that John did what needed to be done in the end, even if it meant killing someone he loved. Which, in turn, put him right back where he started in Season 1. Tyrionne summed John up very well in the saying "Duty is the death of love." That's been John in a nutshell since the show began.

I'm not mad about it, just disappointed. For me it was not worth the 2 year wait that they promised it would be to "do it right".

People are complaining about a water bottle behind Sams leg during the round chair event.

I didn't even notice the Starbucks cup, not sure how the heck people pick up on such things

I watched the show last night after my kids were in bed. Not exactly the best time to take them hunting, fishing or camping.

Although I do plan on taking my kids fishing in Northern MI over the forthcoming holiday weekend, if that counts.

Well, it came on a 8pm on a Sunday night, so I guess I just could not find a kid that could stay out on a school night. But, glad you are a better man than most for not watching it. Nice job.

Are you considered a bad parent if your two children watched you smash the big screen TV with a battle axe? Asking for a friend.

You're a bad parent for not letting them join in with you.
