Anyone shooting the new SuperDrive arrows? Looking at the 23 for 3D. Just wondering what you thought of them.
No, I’m shooting Gold Tip 22’s this year but I plan on making a switch over to Easton as soon as I start running out of arrows. I’ll probably run 25’s for indoor and 3d. I’m still trying to figure out what I’m good at. Next to try is a field round. I don’t know that a GT 22 or a SuperDrive 23 has much advantage over an Easton axis 6mm besides GPI. But then you’re battleing spine and point weight. I dunno.
Yeah I've shot them the last 2 years and they're a pretty nice shaft. Depending on the tip weight you're going for, I would recommend the super drive 23 pro points. I didn't really care for the one size fits all adjustable tip
Interesting, need to look a them on Easton's website...got it bookmarked. I like the diversity of experience and opinions for archery n general. Thanks. Do you ever run out of arrows? I have two out of a dozen 2016 XX75 arrows that are about 40 years old.
Shooting 3d, the 12 ring gets crowded and then an arrow gets damaged by somebody else’s arrow. I broke two at the Total Archery Challenge this weekend. One on a 120 yard buffalo and the other on an 80 some yard buck. After I kill a deer or a coyote, my hunting arrows are usually toast.
I’m running SuperDrive 23’s for 3D this year through my Pro force with 200gr points up front and AAE pro max vanes. Just shot the R100 this weekend and scored a 1057. Mine is the one with blue fletching in top right of 12 ring.
