The mounts are finally in. Africa mounts should be in by late May. Pray for me. That she doesn't leave me lol. I have it on a temporary table for now. Waiting for the Africa pieces to arrive so I can properly plan out the space and decide before I make things permanent.

I’m all for another year together. Great crew and for how it went it would be a reasonable reward. Got back later yesterday from Florida vaca trip and just ran first 5k for the year. Had my 5 year old join. Couldn’t have been worse shape since last year and carried him over a mile of it but survived and probably beat time I woulda guessed by 10 min. finally connected in the final week of MA turkey season. 4 week season ends this Sat at noon. It was with the gun though... I missed one early on and the birds have just been whipping my a$$.

Happy Father's Day guys! 1 day late... I just got the call that my buck is ready already! I can't wait. I am going to go up this afternoon after work and grab him. I'll post pics when I can. I hope he looks as epic as I have been dreaming about.

Been a busy spring so as far as hunting related has gotta pushed aside. Finally fired up the tractor and rushed discing and had some soybeans I got in for one plot. Had to use them up and timing worked. Gonna broadcast rye and maybe brassicas later so we’ll see how it goes. Been getting some mostly unsuccessful fishing aside from working on cabin/property, helping coach tee ball, and got my mustang in first cash show for fun Saturday. Well, here he is... 1st at the taxidermy shop and then home... He is bigger than I remember! The pics do not do his size justice! Instead of doing a habitat scene from the catalog, they just did some water and rocks with bit of moss and leaves, like there was where he died. I didn't have them do snow as they said it usually yellows over time and is a pain to keep clean.

Hope everyone has a fun season and does well, well enough like at least one point less than whatever team I end up on Over the years definitely been keeping up less and less with things on here besides the contest/this team. Hopefully the contest sparks some fun and interest again. For curiosity it would be interesting to keep score for this group and compare it to how the contest goes. Just as a what if kinda thing. Wouldn’t be completely accurate as to how it woulda went but an idea Got a few cams out last week and put pretty limited effort so far. Should have some new heavier arrows coming soon.
